After completion of B.D.S private practice till 1978, worked as Asst. Dental Surgeon at General Hospital Virajpet between 1978 to 1983. Worked as Dental Specialist in central Govt. Sponsored mobile dental ophthalmic unit between 1983 and 1985.

Worked on deputation to post-graduate studies between 1985 to 1987 at Govt. Dental College, Bangalore.

Worked as Senior Asst. Dental Surgeon at General Hospital, Tiptur between 1987 and 1993.

Worked as lecturer, assistant professor and professor in charge in Dept. of public health dentistry at Govt. Dental College Bangalore between 1993 to 2005.

Worked as professor and HOD of Department of Public Health Dentistry Maharshi Markandeshwara College of Dental Science and Research, Ambala Haryana between 2005 to 2017.

Presently practising in Shree Dental Clinic @ Yeshvanthpur, Bangalore
